Ease up on

the Earth

Period and incontinence products take a heavy toll on the environment. Disposable pads can take up to 500 years to decompose, and tampons are notorious for being tossed down the toilet, clogging up our pipes and sewer systems. uterUS products help people with periods and any type of discharge lighten their carbon footprint.

The average period lasts from three to seven days and the average person menstruates from age 13 until age 51. That means some 456 total periods over 38 years, or roughly 2,280 days with a period -- 6.25 years of our lives! Additionally, some people experience incontinence, which can impact them after child birth, stress, or other medical conditions. This can last up to a lifetime!

If we use a combination of tampons and disposable pads, we'll pay several thousand dollars over a lifetime for products that live in a landfill for hundreds of years.

uterUS products last for years, and combined with a menstrual cup, can replace disposables for good. uterUS saves people money and time spent running to the store every time we have a period.
